Ambulatory anesthesia, often known as outpatient anesthesia or day surgery anesthesia, is a form of anesthetic used to support outpatient surgical operations that allow the patient to go home the same day. Ambulatory anesthesia aims to offer safe and effective anesthesia while reducing complications and allowing patients to recover rapidly and return home as soon as feasible. Depending on the surgery and the needs of the patient, this form of anesthesia may involve general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, or local anesthetic. During the sessions, we will examine the recent findings in research and discuss the ambulatory anesthesia techniques.
