Laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique that entails making small incisions and using specialized devices to perform procedures with less harm to the body, less scarring, and faster recovery times. A laparoscope is placed through a small incision to examine internal organs on a monitor, and other small incisions are used to implant tools.
